The Literary Luncheon Laguna Beach Festival of Women Authors raises funds for women nationally and internationally in graduate study and gender equity research, and other programs through the nonprofit  AAUW Educational Opportunities Fund. Locally, the following programs are funded:
• Tutoring El Morro Elementary School students (TLC)                                        
• Scholarships for girls at Thurston and Venado middle schools to attend AAUW Tech Trek Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) summer camps                                                         
  • Scholarships for graduating girls at Laguna Beach and Dana Hills high schools          
 • Scholarships for women returning to college at Saddleback, LCAD, OCC and undergraduate women in STEM disciplines at UCI                     
    • Start Smart salary and benefits negotiation workshops for college women at LCAD and OCC                                             • Women students at LCAD and OCC to attend NCCWSL (National Conference of College Women Student Leaders).
All funds are administered by the AAUW Laguna Beach nonprofit arm, the AAUW Laguna Beach Foundation (AAUW-LBF), a 501-c-3 organization, Tax ID# 33-0915388.
